Quoddy House is a classic, 180 year-old Cape situated on 26 acres of very private land, mostly fields, abutting West Quoddy State Park and overlooking the channel between Campobello Island and West Quoddy Head. The views from the house out to the east extend to the Bay of Fundy and are fabulous beyond description. Watch the lobster boats pulling their traps, the eagles soaring, and seals basking on the ledges while you enjoy a picnic on a private beach. Enjoy brilliant stars and an endless Milky Way in a completely dark sky at night.
Quoddy House sleeps 6 comfortably but is perfect for 2. One bathroom accommodates all. Towels and linens are included. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and refrigerator, and stocked with cooking utensils, flatware and dishes. There is a clothes washer and dryer, a small library, childrens' books, and games. Bring only yourself and your personal items. Quoddy House is a perfect location for multi-generational family gatherings or an intimate get-a-away with your special person.
Broadband internet (3mb/s) is available on wifi. There is no television, telephone (landline), or cable.
Please remember to bring your passport if you are planning to visit Campobello Island, N.B., or other points in Canada!
2024 RATES: May through September (weekly only, Saturday to Saturday): $2100.00 per week.
$150.00 cleaning fee.
+9% Maine sales tax
$500.00 refundable security deposit.
Paid in full by 30 days prior to arrival (personal check or cash).
Please note that we have a no smoking policy at Quoddy House, and are not able to accommodate dogs or other pets. Open fires are prohibited on Quoddy House property due to the fire threat posed by dried brush and downed trees in the surrounding woodlands.
