HighTide is a small modernist retreat located on the east side of the Quoddy House property, with shared access to the Quoddy House beach, but with complete privacy from the 1830’s Quoddy House rental. With separate drive-in at 863 South Lubec Road, HighTide provides guests with a unique opportunity to spend their time in Maine surrounded by nature, nestled in the forest, literally a stone’s throw from West Quoddy Head State Park. Here, you can have a truly unique vacation!
HighTide accommodates a maximum of 4 persons (there is one qween and two twin beds). Please note that HighTide may not be suitable for all - access to the living area on the second story is from the second story deck, with an interior spiral staircase leading to the sleeping quarters on the third floor. While the views from the second and third floor decks are spectacular, young children should be closely supervised.
2024 RATES: May through September (weekly only, Saturday to Saturday): $1700.00 per week.
$150.00 cleaning fee.
+9% Maine sales tax
$500.00 refundable security deposit.
Paid in full by 30 days prior to arrival (personal check or cash).
Please note that we have a no smoking policy at HighTide, and are not able to accommodate dogs or other pets. There is no wifi, no telephone, and no TV at HighTide - here, you can truly get away from it all and enjoy nature as never before! (For those who absolutely cannot cut the cord, the AT&T signal is strong, allowing a very functional hotspot!)
Please note that open fires are prohibited on Quoddy House property due to the fire threat posed by dried brush and downed trees in the surrounding woodlands.

The main living area on the second floor is accessed from the deck, and offers a compact galley equipped with a 24” gas stove with oven and a refrigerator, adjacent to the dining area.
A compact bathroom with shower is located just off the kitchen galley.
On the top floor where you will find a Queen size double, and two twin beds, with a deck facing to the north with world-class views.
